Foreign visitor same-day allocation
Foreign visitors may present a passport or valid ID at Gwanghwamun Ticket Office. The allocation is 300 per day and two per person; availability is not guaranteed.
Free admission in compliant hanbok
Qualifying hanbok wearers may enter without reservation after checking at Heungnyemun Gate. The guideline requires both a jeogori-style upper garment and skirt or pants. A jeogori with jeans, a T-shirt with hanbok bottoms, or only a durumagi does not qualify.

A Respectful Visit Plan
Arrive before sunset if renting hanbok, allowing time for fitting and walking. Keep it comfortable; grounds can be uneven.
