HELLO SEOUL's advertised shopping-festa period ended on September 20, 2026. Its associated royal-court parade had a longer schedule, through October 4, which has also passed. Do not travel to The Hyundai Seoul in October expecting the September pop-ups, performances or exclusive benefits to continue.
This update keeps a short record of the event and replaces the old countdown with a practical branch visit plan. It distinguishes temporary programming from the store's current floor guide, access information and visitor services, all checked on October 9.
The festival dates did not cover every program
Visit Seoul's September 4 listing described Korean-content curation and store-exclusive benefits. Its detailed program dates were more useful than the headline date range:
| Announced program | Published dates in 2026 | Location |
|---|---|---|
| YULART folk-painting display | September 3 to 16 | 1F, Gate 3 |
| K-Heritage and Hyundai Gimul × Bak Geureut pop-ups | September 6 to 16 | B1 Iconic |
| Five-artist K-Art exhibition | September 11 to 20 | 3F |
| Creative Ground brand benefits | September 11 to 20 | B2 |
| Royal-court ceremony parade | Weekends, September 12 to October 4 | 1F |
All of these published periods have ended. The original article was especially unhelpful for someone visiting September 18: it described traditional-goods pop-ups without explaining that their listed end date was September 16. The corrected record makes that distinction explicit. It does not claim to have checked final attendance, sales or whether individual events ran exactly as advertised.
A photograph shared after an event can still show an old installation. Use the program's named dates, not a social post's upload date, to decide whether it belongs in a current itinerary.
Arrive at the branch through Yeouido Station
The store is at 108 Yeoui-daero, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The official English branch page describes an underground route from Yeouido Station, Lines 5 and 9, exit 3, following the moving walkway toward the department store's B2 level. Its outdoor alternative uses exit 4 and a walk of about 400 metres to the main entrance.
These are different arrival options. If you choose the underground connection, begin with the B2 shops rather than navigating upstairs only to return to the same floor. If a step-free route is essential, ask station or store staff about the appropriate lift connection; an exit number alone is not an accessibility guarantee.
The branch page lists extended Friday-to-Sunday hours of 10:30 to 20:30, dining to 22:00, and a closure on Monday, October 19. Its retrieved 'today' field differed across page versions, so this article does not use that field as a live opening guarantee. Check the branch calendar for the actual visit date. Dining hours also do not prove every shop or service desk stays open until 22:00.
Choose floors by purpose instead of chasing the old festa
The current official floor guide names B2 Creative Ground, B1 Tasty Seoul, 3F About Fashion, 5F Sounds Forest, and 6F Dining & Art. These floor identities remain useful after a temporary event disappears.
For an ordinary fashion-and-food visit, an editorial route is B2 browsing, then a focused stop on 3F, followed by B1 food. This is a suggested sequence based on the floor guide, not a tested two-hour promise. Skip 3F if you are only looking for food; skip a shopping floor rather than rushing a meal to meet an arbitrary itinerary timer.
A specific brand, exhibition or pop-up still needs its own current listing. A floor labelled 'Art' does not mean every exhibition there is free, and 'Creative Ground' is not an assurance that September's exclusive products remain in stock.
Where to ask about luggage and shopping paperwork
The detailed English directory lists Tourist Desk luggage storage on 1F, telephone 02-3277-0505. It lists a tax-refund Service Lounge on 6F and a tax-refund kiosk on B2, with 02-3277-0088 for refund inquiries.
Those locations are more actionable than simply advising visitors to 'ask at the counter'. However, the directory does not establish luggage size limits, capacity or a fee, so confirm those details before arriving with suitcases. Likewise, a refund desk's existence does not make every purchase eligible. Ask about the exact item and receipt before assuming the advertised shelf price is your final net cost.
Keep any September promotional screenshot separate from your current purchase. If a salesperson offers a present-day benefit, confirm its dates and conditions for the transaction you are making. HELLO SEOUL's old event page is a historical reference, not a voucher.
