Jangchung Volleyball: Upcoming Matches and the Ticket Route

The next listed V-League match at Seoul's Jangchung Gymnasium is GS Caltex against Korea Expressway Corporation on October 31, 2026, at 16:00 Korea time. KOVO's current schedule and the GS Caltex club page agree on the fixture. On October 9, the club's purchase button for that match was disabled, so a confirmed fixture should not be mistaken for an available ticket. This article explains the specific match choices and the official booking route for a visitor planning ahead.

Choose a Seoul home game

Jangchung is home to women's club GS Caltex Seoul Kixx and men's club Woori Card Woori WON, as confirmed by the arena operator. They have separate fixtures. A Woori Card match listed in another city will not take place at Jangchung merely because the team is based in Seoul.

These early-season examples come from the current KOVO schedule, checked October 9. All four list Seoul Jangchung Gymnasium as the venue; start times can change.

Date in Korea Start, KST Home club Opponent
Saturday, October 31, 2026 16:00 GS Caltex Korea Expressway Corporation
Wednesday, November 11, 2026 19:00 Woori Card Korean Air
Saturday, November 14, 2026 16:00 GS Caltex SOOP
Sunday, November 15, 2026 14:00 Woori Card Hyundai Capital

For a shorter trip, the October 31 opening game is the first of these options. For a weekend with a choice of men's and women's volleyball, November 14 and 15 offer consecutive dates at the same venue. That is an itinerary suggestion based on the schedule, not a package deal or a prediction of seat availability.

Open the correct ticket page

Start from KOVO and select 티켓, meaning tickets. The site's main ticket destination can emphasize the current cup competition. In the October 9 check it opened the Yeosu NH Nonghyup Cup page, which concerns a different competition and city. Do not buy a cup ticket expecting admission in Seoul.

For the October 31 women's match, the official GS Caltex club home page lists the date, opponent and 서울장충체육관, Seoul Jangchung Gymnasium. Use the 티켓 구매 button attached to that exact fixture when it becomes available. A disabled button is not a purchase confirmation and does not establish that the game has sold out.

KOVO's ticket-purchase notice gives a general booking window beginning five days before the match, with the opening hour varying by club and exceptions for memberships or advance sales. For an October 31 game, that general rule points to October 26, but a specific opening hour and this game's seat prices were not confirmed in the checked listing. Do not budget using an old season's chart.

What an overseas visitor can and cannot assume

The same official notice lists a KRW 1,000 online booking fee, card and other supported online payment routes, and cash or card at the venue box office. It does not establish that every overseas-issued card or foreign phone number works in the online flow. No purchase was made to test that here.

If the online identity or payment step cannot accept your own details, the venue box office is a documented alternative, subject to seats remaining. KOVO says it generally opens two hours before the match, with club-specific variation. This is a walk-up option, not a reservation and not a guarantee for a popular opening game. Ticket questions go to 1588-7890, the number on the official notice, with service hours listed as 10:00–19:00. English service was not verified.

Save the live mobile ticket in the supported account or app. KOVO warns that a captured image of a mobile ticket cannot be used for entry. The current notice also gives a general cancellation cutoff four hours before the match, with exceptions possible in event-specific terms. Read the final sale conditions before paying rather than relying on a screenshot of this article.

Arrive through Dongguk University Station

The address is 241 Dongho-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul. The operator's directions identify Dongguk University Station, Line 3, Exit 5, with a direct gymnasium connection. The Korean station name is 동대입구역; the destination is 장충체육관.

If you already hold a ticket, allowing roughly 45–60 minutes before the first serve is an editorial planning buffer for finding your entrance and seat, not an official gate-opening time. If using the box office, plan around its actual opening and the risk of no seats remaining. The operator says ordinary parking is unavailable during events, so driving should not be the default plan.

For a step-free route, the venue FAQ describes station lifts, the underground passage toward Exit 5, and lifts within the gymnasium. Accessible seating exists, but a general ticket is not an assurance that the required place or companion seat is available. Confirm that arrangement for the selected fixture before purchase.

The venue FAQ allows simple food in second-floor spectator seating, but excludes alcohol, hot soup and strongly smelling food; food and drink are prohibited on the first-floor floor area. Match-specific instructions may add restrictions. Check your seat type before bringing food, rather than assuming every part of the arena has the same rule.
